Riga International airport is not to pay dividends from its clean profit for 2012. Instead, the airport is to divert money to modernize its security infrastructure. This decision was made during the government meeting of August 20.
The airport is to divert in order to develop the perimeter’s security about 1,241,611 Lats. According to Transport Ministry reports, it is necessary in order to secure passengers’ and cargo safety in full accordance with EU safety standards
